When there's a power outage, we know how important it is for you to have the most current information as possible. Power outage alerts will inform you:
- When the power goes out
- Why the power is out
- If there is updated restoration information
- When the power is back on

How to sign up for power outage alerts
- Register and sign in to My Account.
- Add a Site to your account. You will need your Site ID, meter read and meter reading date for this.
- Select 'Settings' from the drop down menu under My Account in the top right side of the website.
- Click 'Power Outage Alerts'.
- Click 'Sign Up' to receive mobile and/or email outage alerts.
- Modify which sites you would like to receive outage alerts for.
When you'll receive alerts
Messages will be sent to you when there is a power outage affecting your site.
- When the power goes out: We will notify you when we are aware of a power outage affecting your site. The message may not be immediate as crews are investigating the outage.
- Updated information: New information related to the estimated restoration time will be provided to you when available.
- When the power is on: We will notify you when we believe your power has been restored. If you are still without power, please check our power outage map to verify any outages in your area, or call us at 310-WIRE (9473) or 1-866-717-3113.
If you're experiencing a power outage and did not receive an alert, please call us at 310-WIRE (9473) or 1-866-717-3113 or report it using our mobile app or power outage map.
