FortisAlberta is a Load Settlement Agent (LSA). This means FortisAlberta conducts load settlement calculations for all sites in our service area. The load settlement calculation accounts for the hourly energy consumed by the customers of each retailer.

FortisAlberta also performs the load settlement calculation for Rural Electrification Association (REA) sites that are supplied by transmission points of delivery contained within our service area.

FortisAlberta UFE Reasonableness Report

FortisAlberta is required to provide reports when Unaccounted For Energy (UFE) is outside of prescribed tolerances.

Settlement Profile Information

FortisAlberta posts CSV files providing all profile values used in the settlement run. The files are kept in a ZIP format to allow for the automated download of the files.
