What is power quality?
Power quality is a term used to describe electric power that motivates an electrical load (device) and the load's ability to function properly with that electric power. Without the proper power, an electrical device may malfunction, fail prematurely or not operate.
Our goal
Our top priority is to provide safe, reliable electricity to our customers. Our policies and procedures have been developed to actively seek solutions to existing power quality issues and pro-actively prevent new ones from occurring.
What to do if you have power quality concerns
Read the information in the sidebar to help you understand different power quality issues. You can submit a request for assistance from the FortisAlberta by calling 310-WIRE.
